Operating as a ‘museum without walls’, the Arts Council Collection is the UK’s largest and most widely circulated national loan collection of modern and contemporary British art. Lending to numerous public buildings including schools, universities, hospitals and charities.
The ACC team wanted to increase the collections’ public recognition in the many settings it is seen and reposition the brand as ‘the people’s art collection’. 
The logo intention is to be colourful and accessible and to stand out as the owner of the loans and collections. It’s shape makes a simple reference to the collection’s Art’s Council parent whilst the toolkit offers a large palette of colour variations to encourage vibrant application.
